Witam, koledzy potrzebuję pomocy w zakupie routera do powyższego modemu. Mam Internet z Cyfrowego Polsatu, ale jeśli chodzi o modem to nie wiem czy to jest hlink czy zwykły. Obecnie posiadam do tego standardowy router jaki oferuje Polsat. Generalnie to chciałbym zakupić router w miarę dobry aby można było wgrać do niego np Tomamto. Do routera podłączony będzie modem oraz dysk przenośny lub pamięć flash np 128 Gb do przechowywania danych - dostęp do dysku będzie wewnątrz sieci. Sieć będzie miała ok 15 komputerów więc chciałbym aby to w miarę dobrze chodziło oraz aby była możliwość przydzielania pasma, blokowania niektórych strona itp.
Jeśli wybrałem zły dział to proszę o przeniesienie tematu w odpowiednie miejsce.

nie podales ile chcialbys przeznaczyc na router.

Dzięki za info, co do kasy to myślałem o sumie ok 300 zł, więc ASUS RT-N18U chyba by był dobry lub inny który doradzicie do tej kwoty.
Obecna moja konfiguracja to:
Modem wpięty do routera Polsatu edimax do tego mam podłączony router linksys WRT 54GL, na nim mam podział pasma itp, sam router działa mi już od wielu lat i ma ładny zasięg WiFi ale znowu edimax to badziew Polsatu bez możliwości dobrej konfiguracji a na linksys już mam lepsze pole manewru jak np codzienny restart ok 4 rano aby przeładować system i to samo potrzebuję zrobić na routerze z modemem bo jak wiadomo modem co 24h zmienia IP i tu właśnie chcę ustawić aby w nocy się restartował żeby w dzień nie było przerw w dostawie. Do tego mam podłączonego starego laptopa a w nim udostępniam dysk sieciowy na pliki z nadanymi uprawnieniami na folderach dla każdego użytkownika i podobnie chciałbym zrobić już na jednym routerze aby nie pracowało tyle urządzeń.
A dodam że zasięg LTE mam ok 86% tyle że prędkości już nie ciekawe bo up ok 30 Mb/s down 7 Mb/s, chyba nadajnik już nie wyrabia - sprawdzałem gdy modem podłączony był bezpośrednio do laptopa.

Długo nie myśląc kupiłem ASUS RT-N18U (289 zł Kraków)i już mam go na biurku teraz muszę poczytać jaki firmware wgrać i jak konfigurować.

pamietaj ze przed wgraniem trzeba wrocic do ustawien firmowych a po zmianie softu wyczyscic nvram. Wciskasz przycisk WPS, wlaczsz routerek i po 20 sek zaczyna migac szybko dioda zasialnia; wylanczasz i juz zresetowany nvram
jakby co mozesz tez to zrobic z poziomu putty.

Udało się zmienić soft bez problemu, dzięki za porady Modem działa spoko ping bardzo ładny i ogólnie jakby net chodził szybciej co bardzo cieszy. Sprawdziłem jak szybko się łączy i po podłączeniu routera do sieci czas do zapalenia się diody na modemie to ok 2 min więc chyba jest dobrze, ustawiłem sobie restart na 4 rano wiec przez cały dzień powinienem mieć stabilne łącze bez rozłączania. Pozostaje mi teraz rozkminić jak podłączyć pamięć flash mam pena 64 Gb i chciałbym na nim przechowywać trochę plików generalnie word, exel, zdjęcia i może tu zapytam czy jest możliwość takiej konfiguracji aby inne laptopy mogły sobie wejść na ten dysk udostępniony w sieci tylko wewnętrznej i aby mogli zapisywać i edytować pliki?

sprawdz na poczatek bez resetow. U mnie u rodzinki bez resetow chodzi super od pol roku bez rozlaczania. Ustaw tylko sprawdzanie polaczenia jak bedzie cos nie tak to sam zresetuje uslugę.

ogolnie to zrob 2 partycje (SWAP przy tym routerku nie potrzebne). Mozna np Gpart albo jak w tutorialu.

2) dane - ext4 pozostałe miejsce - montowanie do /nas
montowanie dysku w scripts zakladka init a i wylacz automontowanie w zakladce USB and NAS / USB Support

Dzięki Adooni za pomoc w konfiguracji sprzętu, walczę jeszcze z sambą - udostępnianiem udziałów/folderów dodanych przez siebie aby można było w jednym z nich np folder x tylko odczytać pliki oraz folder y aby można było odczytywać, zapisywać, modyfikować pliki, obecnie zatrzymałem się w miejscu gdzie dodam jakiś folder/udział i widzę go w miejscach sieciowych lub mapuje sobie dysk sieciowy ale nie mogę w nich nic zapisać :/

Ok 1 w nocy router przestał współpracować z modemem :/ rano musiałem go zrestartować żeby nawiązał połączenie, wywnioskowałem to z logów ale czemu to nie wiem logi mi za wiele nie mową :/

Jak wersja tomato 135 to tak sie dzieje. Nawet watchdog nie pomaga. Po prostu dioda miga sobie. Liczę że w wersja 136 poprawi ten błąd.

A no właśnie dokładnie tak dioda miga, chcąc zalogować się do routera musiałem czekać sporą chwilę aż mi się pokazało okno a w nim zauważyłem że adres jest przydzielony ale neta niema, to może wgrać póki co starszą? tylko którą stabilną polecacie?

No właśnie tak. Która będzie najlepsza może 132 ale ciężko mi powiedzieć. Ja używam modelu jako łącze zapasowe.

Adooni mi pisał że używa wersji v131 i działa u niego dobrze więc bez kombinacji może wrzucę ją.

ja uzywam v132 i caly czas routerek z modemem pracuje nie ma zadnego problemu z zanikiem netu itp. Ja masz teraz v135 (ja Tobie proponowalem v132 ale nie potwierdziles co wgrales) to przy powrocie do v132 musisz wyczyscic nvram. Na v131 tez pracowal przez kilka miesiecy ale wlasnie na v131 sie wieszal czasami. W v132 masz sprawdzanie polaczenia wiec to jest plus - mozesz po prostu to wylaczyc moze akurat u Ciebie to cos psuje.

Koledzy mam pytanie odnośnie rozłączania internetu/zmiana IP co 24h otóż dostawcy zmieniają adres IP co 24h i przy tej operacji następuje brak internetu ok 3-4 minuty co jest denerwujące, w moim przypadku było tak że podłączyłem router z modemem ok 11 godziny rano i codziennie mam brak internetu o tej godzinne i zaraz skargi że nie działa. Przyszedłem do pracy na 6:30 wyłączyłem z gniazdka router i teraz mam zmianę IP o tej godzinie i trwa ok 20 sek ale .... w tomato jest możliwość ustawienia restartu routera lub restart połączenia - ustawiłem to i testowałem niestety nie działa bo zmiana IP i tak następuje o godzinie 6:30 czy jest jakiś inny sposób aby wymusić restartowanie np o 4 rano ?

to może być efekt zbyt niskiego natężenia prądu. Wygląda jakby modem został na chwilę odłączony, po czym podłączony na nowo.
Jeżeli masz modem wpięty bezpośrednio do routera to upewnij się, że do portu USB3.0 a nie 2.0. Jeżeli zaś modem już jest w porcie USB3.0 to musisz zakupić HUB USB z zailaczem (aktywny).
Reasumując musisz dosilić modem i powinno pomóc.

Modem był wpięty w usb 2.0 jakiś czas działał ale to był krótki okres bo pewnego dnia po prostu nie chciał się połączyć nawet po fizycznym restarcie więc podłączyłem po usb 3.0 i zaskoczył ale też jak widać go coś boli, być może to napięcie - mam gdzieś aktywny usb, jutro podepnę i będe obserwował jak będzie działać.

Dziś znowu powtórka z rozrywki mimo podłączonego USB z zasilaczem:
50-60Hz 0,35A
OUTPUT 5.0V --- 2000mA
Zerwało mi połączenie po 12 i nie było ponad 10 min po restarcie routera narazie znowu jest ok. dotykałem modem nie jest gorący, w letnie dni gdy było dużo goręcej modem działał ok a ostatnio jak widać coś go boli i tracę już nerwy. Podłączyłem modem do laptopa sygnał pokazywało -78dBm a po podłączeniu do routera pokazuje -59dBm więc nie wiem czemu taka różnica w odczycie.

a sprawdz jeszcze 1 rzecz. Malo osob uzywa modem E3276 a w ostatnich kilku wersjach byl dodany specialny sterownik dla E3372.
Ja bym wgral testowo tomato v125 "Wsparcie dla modemów 4G/LTE oraz intergracja z GUI (testowane na E3276 oraz E3372)" przed zmianami.
