Musisz posiadać oryginalny soft linksysa dla swojego modelu oraz program tftp. Ustawiasz w tftp na adres routera, podajesz docelowy plik z oryginalnym softem linksysa i upgradujesz.
Wcześniej tego nie napisałem wyleciało mi to z głowy. Posiadam wrt54g v8 czyli przy flashowaniu na dd-wrt trzeba było użyć najpierw VXworks killer czy teraz przy wracaniu na oryginalny soft nie trzeba jakoś wgrywać najpierw tego VXworks-a??

enter "tftp -i 192.168.1.1 put dd-wrt.v24_micro_wrt54gv8.bin" on your local windows console and press enter
(for linux, tftp 192.168.1.1; mode octet;put dd-wrt.v24_micro_wrt54gv8.bin)
10.
the file will now be transfered to your router and be flashed. after this is done, dd-wrt will automaticly boot and you can reach
your router at http://192.168.1.1

Pytanie jest takie czy mogę postępować według instrukcji wyżej tylko zamiast vxworks killer-a użyć vxworks revert a zamiast dd-wrt micro użyć soft linksysa i to mi przywróci soft linksysa??

1. Reset the router to defaults on the Linksys Admin page, and let it reboot
or manually reboot it after its finished.
2. go to the firmware upgrade page and browse to the VxWorksPrep-Gv72-v1.bin file,
and click on the upgrade page. Wait for 30 seconds for it to reboot on its own,
if it does not then powercycle the router manually.
3. again go to the firmware upgrade page and browse to the VxWorksKiller-Gv72-v3.bin file,
and click on the upgrade page. Wait for 60 seconds for it to reboot on its own,
if it does not then powercycle the router manually.
4. Tftp the DD-WRT firmware to the router "dd-wrt.v24_micro_generic.bin" from v24 RC7
(or the one in this folder); this firmware is for the Gv7.2, Gv8 and GSv7, after sucessful
tftp, wait 3 min for the router to finish writing new nvram deafults, etc... It should
reboot on it's own at least two times, so give it the three min's and then goto
http://192.168.1.1
------ VxWorksRevert-Gv72-v3.bin ----------
1. Reset to defaults
2. goto the Admin screen firmware upgrade, and browse to VxWorksRevert-Gv72-v3.bin,
and click upgrade. During this time the Web browser may say upgrade succesfull and
to reboot -----"Do NOT REBOOT"----- Wait for 2 min's and then reboot.
3. Go to http://192.168.1.1 and you should see a mgmt mode screen, this is where you
browse to the original Linksys Firmware, and and upgrade.
4. Wait for 1 min, even if it say's upgrade successful and to reboot, believe me, in my
tests, it has not finished yet.
5. go to http://192.168.1.1 - you should have the regular Linksys Firmware.
Notes.....
It may be nessasary to completly close and repoen the browser, it sometimes will return
to a mgmt screen, if you only refresh the browser after upgrading, just close the browser
and try again.

Światłowód + mediakonwenter. Ekranowana skrętka nie jest wymagana, taką sytuację już zastałem. Zamierzam ją wymienić na zwykłą. Da to coś?

Ponownie padły mi wszystkie porty sieciowe w routerze - to już 3-ci w 6 m-cy. Podejrzany to ekranowana, nieuziemiona skrętka - 12mb. Czy jest to możliwe?

Kupowałem Asusy n10u albo n12d1 ale nie widzę ich, chyba już nie produkują, Chodzi o coś nowego i taniego. Transfery niewielkie.

@overflow2 patrząc po dostępności funkcji w nowych kompilacjach, to chyba nawet WRT54G/GL jeszcze ma OpenVPN, albo jakiś odpowiednik... zależy, na jakie transfery liczysz.
