Problem z Huawei E398

Witam,
Jakiś czas temu kupiłem modem Huawei E398 .
Zgodnie z http://openlinksys.info/forum/viewthread.php?thread_id=17077&highlight=E398&pid=125662#post_125511 powinien działać z tomato.
Instalacja przebiegła bezproblemowo i wszystko byłoby fajnie gdyby nie to, że co ok 24-27h modem się rozłącza i nie może ponownie nawiązać połączenia.
Czasem pomaga restart, czasem wyłączenie obsługi modemów 3g i ponowna instalacja modemu, a czasem nic nie pomaga i ponowne podłączenie modemu po kilku godzinach sprawia, że w końcu udaje się połączyć z internetem.
Przez jakiś czas kilkakrotnie router po utracie połączenia jednak je wznawiał (3-4 razy z rzędu) ale i to się skończyło.
Zarówno modem jak i router niezależnie działają bez zarzutu (Router mam od ponad roku i działa bez zarzutu, modem podłączony do laptopa śmiga jak trzeba) .
Obecnie używam routera:

Kupowałem Asusy n10u albo n12d1 ale nie widzę ich, chyba już nie produkują, Chodzi o coś nowego i taniego. Transfery niewielkie.

@overflow2 patrząc po dostępności funkcji w nowych kompilacjach, to chyba nawet WRT54G/GL jeszcze ma OpenVPN, albo jakiś odpowiednik... zależy, na jakie transfery liczysz.

@servee - o ile problem jest w obrębie samych wyjść (dławiki, warystory), to naprawialne, ale jeśli w samym SoC - to nienaprawialne ze względu na koszta. A co było przyczyną?
