Postanowiłem zmienić Neatgera v1 na Asusa RT-N16, ponieważ nie mogłem w żaden sposób poradzić sobie z notorycznie wieszającym się torrentem, jednak po zmianie, wgraniu tomato v102, założeniu 3 partycji notorycznie wisi transmission

Wywal swap, przeleć dysk narzędziem naprawczym - u mnie nie zauważyłem żadnego zwisu nigdy ani routera anie trans.. WNR3500L v1 (trans z optware).
Jeśli problem występował na obydwu to zapewne winnym będzie dysk, zasilanie portu USB.

mam podpięty inny dysk, poprzedni był zasilany zewn zasilaczem i podłączony poprzez huba, ten jest IDE poprzez przejściówke IDE/USB i bezpośrednio do USB podpięty...

Usunąłem swap...i jak na razie wszystko ok, bez zwiechy...kilka torków pociągnięte i śmiga...oby tak zostało :-)

widzę, że masz zarówno Netgear'a (co prawda v1) i Asusa RT-n16. Pytanko do Ciebie o porównanie - mam na razie jeszcze Asusa wl500gpv2 i przymierzam się do wymiany w najbliższym czasie. Myślałem też o RT-N66 ale chyba nie ma sensu wydawać takiej kasy na router.
W swoim asusie przede wszystkim narzekam na wolny transfer z HDD-USB...
Oczywiście jeśli ktoś z forumowiczów ma jakieś spostrzeżenia to również chętnie zapoznam się Smile

zapis mam chyba na poziomie 1,5MB/s odczyt chyba około 2MB więc może być problem czy odtwarzaniu np mkv...
zreszta czytałem, że na wl500gp wlasnie problemem sa transfery z hdd-usb
a jak to wyglada na RTN16 czy np na Netgear?

generalnie tak jak napisałem - Asusa mam już kilka lat, planuje wymianę i nie bardzo wiem co wybrać ze średniej półki. Pewnie wybrałbym RTN66 ale uważam, że nie ma sensu przepłacać

Transfery odnoszą się do nie obciążonych innymi aplikacjami routerów z systemem plików ext.
