Jak uruchomić webcam pod tomato?

Logitech przyszedł wczoraj, podłączyłem, uruchomiłem mjpg i śmiga aż miło, muszę jeszcze powalczyć żeby filmy z kamerki się zgrywały na dysk.
Jak to zrobić, czy lepsze bedzie motion ??
jeśli tak to jak uruchomić motion, nie mogę zaistalować paczki z motion, krzyczy że jest problem z sumą kontrolną pliku (motion z niemieckiego forum)

@arunner2 motion spełni Twoje oczekiwania ( mnogość opcji konfiguracyjnych z wykrywaniem ruchu na czele). Oczywiście jego zasobożerność jest spora przy nagrywaniu ale po odpowiedniej konfiguracji można przeżyć. Co do problemów z suma kontrolną to zapewne sprawa z repozytorium jakiego używasz. Usuń z listy motion i zainstaluj lokalnie. Już nie pamiętam dokładnie ale chyba też mi krzyczał o to.

Mam w domu kamerkę nie obsługiwaną przez UVC, ale wspieraną przez moduł gspca_spca561.ko

Po wykonaniu komend:
insmod /opt/extras/videodev.ko
insmod /opt/extras/v4l2-common.ko
insmod /opt/extras/v4l2-int-device.ko
insmod /opt/extras/input-core.ko
insmod /opt/extras/gspca_main.ko
insmod /opt/extras/gspca_spca561.ko

W logach pokazuje się informacja o wykryciu kamery, niestety żaden z dostępnych programów nie potrafi jej obsłużyć. Najlepiej było z zmodyfikowaną wersją motion, ale niestety on wysypywał się na nieznanym mu rodzaju palety.
Z tego co widać, to niestety bez modyfikacji samego motion nie ma szans na odpalenie tej kamerki.

Druga kamerka jest teoretycznie obsługiwana przez moduł spca1528. Niestety nie ma go w pakiecie extras. Czy można liczyć na dodanie tego modułu do paczki extras? W includach posiada on tylko dwa wpisy: #include "gspca.h", #include "jpeg.h", więc teoretycznie powinien się skompilować.
Ten driver teoretycznie powinien zadziałać z motion, bo wspiera palete V4L2_PIX_FMT_MJPEG, która jest akceptowana przez motion.

sprawdze tego patcha. Też mam kamerki pod gspca i tomato je rozpoznaje. Niestety swego czasu jak temat meczyłem nie znalazłem programu ktory wspierałby v4l2 dla gspca. Wszystkie wymagały v4l1 którego to nie ma w tomato.

Dzięki wielkie, tylko nie zapomnij inaczej skompilować motion, bo wersja w Twoim repo raczej nie wspiera v4l1. Ja do swoich testów używałem wersji z linka zamieszczonego tu na forum.

Ehh, v4l2 miało być.

Jednak wychodzi na to, że modułu spca1528 jednak nie uda mi się skompilować. Zmienił się nagłówek funkcji gspca_frame_add i nie wiem jak przerobić kod tego sterownika.
Więc jedyna nadzieja w libvlconvert

Witam wszystkich jako, że jest mój pierwszy wpis proszę o wyrozumiałość gdy zacznę wypisywać bzdury -orłem w zakresie linuxa to ja nie jestem :-) ...Ale do rzeczy
-po zainstalowaniu tomato przyszła pora na instalację kamerki Logitech C210. Skorzystałem z rady naszego kolegi Shibby i załadowałem moduły
insmod videodev.ko
insmod v4l2-common.ko
insmod v4l2-int-device.ko
insmod input-core.ko
insmod uvcvideo.ko
(przy okazji WIELKIE DZIEKI Shibby, całą wiedzę czerpię z tego forum i niewątpliwie jesteś wielki w te klocki Smile
moje problemy zaczęły się gdy próbowałem odpalić:

mjpg_streamer -i "input_uvc.so -y" -o "output_http.so -p 1235

ale i na to znalazłem sposób na forum

bardzo fajny skrypt sh w którym wystarczy wpisać odpowiedni adres, port oraz login i hasło, polecam może komuś pomoże.
Po wgraniu tego skryptu root@unknown:/tmp/home/root#sh kamera.sh

-podczas podglądu na http://192.168.1.1:1234 widzę tylko szary ekran z aktualną datą
-przy próbie odpalenia motion tylko z załadowanymi modułami: videodev.ko, v4l2-common.ko
v4l2-int-device.ko, input-core.ko, uvcvideo.ko motion wywala zestaw innych błędów:

Znalazłem sterowniki obsługujące moją kamerę, ale nie mogę ich zainstalować. Cały czas wyskakuje ...videodev.ko.o': module not found . Bez względu gdzie je umieszczę, w jaki sposób (wget czy ręcznie) i jaką ścieżkę podam.

Posiadam kamerkę Creative VF0250, znajduje się ona na liście obsługiwanych kamer, próbuje załadować moduły i oprócz jednego "insmod /opt/extras/input-core.ko", wszystkie wchodzą, przy tym dostaję komunikat :"insmod: can't insert '/opt/extras/input-core.ko': invalid module format" , moduły z extras do tego firmware co mam. Pomoże ktoś ?

Widziałem, że tem problem miało więcej użytkowników, ale nie znalazłem na niego odpowiedzi i nikt też się nie podzielił z rozwiązaniem, te które były podane u mnie niestety nie podziałały, teraz nawet wgrałem nowe firmware ...109 i też ten sam błąd.

Instalowałem na początku z tego linku https://www.asuswrt.eu/webcam-video-s...-streamer/, gdzie opis był dla Asusa RT-N16, RT-N66U, RT-AC66U. Przy odpalaniu motion, problem jest podobny

Oczywiście plik dev/video0 nie pojawia się, nie ma również wyszczególnionej kamerki w panelu routera (USB and NAS).

Po znalezieniu tego opisu skumałem, że być może wrzuciłem złe moduły (w końcu do Asusa), więc ściągnałem extrasy do MIPSR2 (extras-K26-MIPSR2.tar.gz) i znów próbowałem wgrać moduły insmodem, ale otrzymywałem info, że plik już istnieje

Toteż stwierdziłem, że najlepiej będzie wyrejestrować stare moduły (te od Asusa) i wrzucić nowe z extrasów, ale po wywołaniu komendy rmmod, dostaję info, że niektórych nie można wyrejestrować, bo są zajęte

Kupowałem Asusy n10u albo n12d1 ale nie widzę ich, chyba już nie produkują, Chodzi o coś nowego i taniego. Transfery niewielkie.

@overflow2 patrząc po dostępności funkcji w nowych kompilacjach, to chyba nawet WRT54G/GL jeszcze ma OpenVPN, albo jakiś odpowiednik... zależy, na jakie transfery liczysz.

@servee - o ile problem jest w obrębie samych wyjść (dławiki, warystory), to naprawialne, ale jeśli w samym SoC - to nienaprawialne ze względu na koszta. A co było przyczyną?
