i have rt56u router.
everytime when i reboot my router, usb3.0 flash, not mounted at all!!!
this was and in older firmware.
to fix that, i turn off/on Core USB Support and flash will be visible in attached devices. but still not mounted. i reboot router, and if luck with me, usb3.0 will mounted correctly. if not, i reboot one more time.
this very bad.
why it is happend ?
may be fix is ?

no. it is not working.
because, my usbflash not visible in /dev like any sda1,2,3 (3 partions)
after turn off/on core usb support, /dev/sda - become visible, but no one partitions.
after reboot router all ok. and automounting - fine works too.

what file system are you using? ext3/4? For router you should not use NTFS or FAT
if you have enable please disable usb1.1 support
do you have USB3.0 flash connected to router via usb3.0 or 2.0 usb port?
it is possibile that your device require a lot of power and this is the reason that sometimes it is recognized or not - did you tryied to use active (with outside power sorce) usb hub? You can try to turn off all function like wi-fi etc to see if then USB pen will work if yes for sure you just need to use additional power sorce like active hub.
automounting is bad way to do that for me this function should not exist at all

Could you please explain why do we need to put these commands to the "scripts > firewall" but not "Init"? What is the difference? |

It was explained long time ago by Shibby. "Init" is execute 1st and is possible that not all modules will be on when you will try to mount HDD therefore "firewall" tab should be used.

Przecież kończenie połaczenia to szyfrowanie end-to-end. Po drodze pakietu nie widać co w nim siedzi. |
