Hi,
EDIT: tomato-Netgear-3500Lv2-K26USB-1.28.RT-N5x--138-AIO.chk
When directlly connected to my cable modem, my ISP says that my d/l speed is 168Mbps. However, when connected through the WNR3500Lv2 using 138, d/l speed is only 104Mbps.
Disabled features are: wireless, adblock, tor, QoS, Captive Portal, Web Server, everything under "USB and NAS", NFS, CIFS, SNMP.
BCM fast NAT did not help.
Is this router incapable of higher speeds?

Try OFW.
For example v1 with Netgear firmware:
Routing throughput running the NETGEAR firmware measured 256 Mbps WAN to LAN, 301 Mbps LAN to WAN and 302 Mbps with both directions running simultaneously.

Test whether you see any difference, OFW should be a bit faster. |

Don't worry, I also have bricked my 3500Lv2 once. Purchase a cable and follow the instructions, may not be the easiest task, but when you succeed you will be proud of yourself, I promise |
