mam problem z uruchomieniem tomato na asus rt-n18u po wgraniu softu, resecie urządzenia loguję się do tomato, jednak na komputerach podłączonych do routera nie mam internetu https://scr.hu/AJqakP
ping z routera też nie wraca

@Shibby v132 po restarcie ma IP z DHCP mojego ISP. v136 nie. Mając 136 połączę się jak WAN przełączę na 3G ale z powrotem nie. Załączam log.

No więc sagi ciąg dalszy. Na razie wyłączanie poszczególnych serwisów nie pomogło. Był okres spokoju, ale router z powrotem zaczął się "zawieszać". Nawet całkowite wyłączenie Samby nie pomogło. Znalazłem jednak przy tym błąd w "bezbłędnym" oprogramowaniu. Poniżej jest dowód.

Wystarczy dowodów? Myślę że tak. Co prawda Master Browser nie wygląda na przyczynę "wieszania" się routera, ale jak ma nie chodzić to ma nie chodzić. Tak czy nie?

Samba i MB są obsługiwane poprzez 2 procesy: smbd (właściwa Samba) i nmbd (wygląda na MB, ale nie tylko). Pomimo że MB jest wyłączony, to nmbd dalej chodzi. Jak się go ubije, to nie można podłączyć żadnego udziału z routera. Natomiast jak się udział najpierw podłączy a później ubije nmbd, to wszystko działa normalnie. Wygląda na to, że nmbd oprócz MB obsługuje podłączanie udziałów, więc nie dziwi mnie że ten proces cały czas chodzi. Dziwi mnie tylko że funkcje MB chodzą, choć wyraźnie zostały wyłączone. W zasadzie nie powinienem się dziwić, bo już wcześniej zaznaczyłem, że nie wierzę w istnienie bezbłędnego oprogramowania, co niniejszym zostało udowodnione.

A ja mam problem, który mam wrazenie (aczkolwiek nie daje sobie ręki uciąć) pojawił sie u mnie po przejsciu na wersję 133 multiwan, tylko wtedy chyba się nad tym nie skupiałem, teraz mam 136.
Problem tyczy sie WIFI.
Taki dziwny objaw widoczny zwłaszcza w urządzeniach mobilnych (telefon).
Jestem w domu, telefon podłączy sie do wifi, jest OK. poleży kilka godzin, biorę go do ręki, wifi jest ale "internetu nie ma" - konkretnie nie moge spingowac routera ani nic z zewnątrz. Połączenie niby jest, ale bramy nie widzę. Tak samo z routera nie pinguje telefonu (android). Można by powiedziec ze to cos z tym konkretnym urządzeniem, ale nie. Drugi telefon to samo. Mam tez taki router w trybie bridga w domu - i tez to samo.
Robie restart wifi (w telefonie), zaciągnie sie na nowo z dhcp i gra.
Głupi jestem, w logach nic ciekawego nie widze.

Moze ktos ma podobne klopoty?

a to nie kwestia przypisywania IP do urzadzenia przez jakis czas? W moim routerze zauwazylem cos takiego - rezerwacja IP na powiedzmy 2godizny, telefony itp czesto polaczenie wifi ubijaja po zablokowaniu, telefon wstaje a jego IP na ruterze moze juz nie byc.

Ja nadal nie potrafie sie ze swiezo wgranego tomato polaczyc z siecia, czyszczenie nvramu nic nie pomoglo :/

Nie, to raczej nie to. Problemów wczesniej nie było. Dzierzawa 24h. Poki co wyrznalem cala konfigurację wifi. (mam 2 sieci) i zrobiłem na nowo dokłądnie tak samo. Wygląda ze pomogło. Z jednym urzadzeniem mam tylko poki co problem, ale musze je zrestartowac, nie jest to proste.

Dokładam kolejny problem.. Używam: ASUS RT-N18U Tomato Firmware 1.28.0000 -136 K26ARM USB AIO-64K z tym sterownikiem Tuxera więc to chyba zwykła wersja.


Nie wiem jak to zweryfikować, ale router mi się coś przycina i połączenie z WAN ulega zawieszeniu. Tzn. nie można uzyskać adresu DNS. Po restarcie routera działa ponownie. Ostatnia taka sytuacja po 6 dniach działania. Jak mogę sprawdzić w czym jest problem?


Przypominam też o poprzednim problemie:
Chcę jednak zgłosić problem z serwerem samba (USB and NAS / File sharing) - usługa nie wstaje (przynajmniej na kilka ostatnich restartów routera nie wstała ani razu) i dopiero wyłączenie (Enable file sharing -> NO) i ponowne jej włączenie (Enable file sharing -> Yes, authentication required) pomogło i dysk USB jak i sam router stał się widoczny w sieci.. Zauważyłem również przynajmniej raz że router po restarcie poległ i nie działał interfejs LAN/WAN, odłączenie z prądu pomogło.

to wgraj dedykowaną wersję dla RT-N18u (NOSMP) i sprawdź czy na niej jest ok. Robiłem niedawno instalację na tym routerze w domku 400m2 i nikt nie zgłaszał mi problemów z niestabilnością.

Mój kolega ma go też w firmie z aktywnym dualwan w trybie failover i też nie skarżył się na problemy.

@Shibby nawiązuję do https://openlinksys.info/forum/viewthread.php?thread_id=4936&rowstart=740#post_154799 czyli problemu z dostępem do netu gdy ISP rozpoznaje mnie po MAC adresie.

Porównałem v132 i v136. Wygląda na to, że MAC adres interfejsu WAN jest źle odczytywany. Prawidłowy MAC ma u mnie końcówkę B9 (LAN B8) a wersja 136 wykrywa C8. Nie mam pojęcia skąd. Potwierdza to ifconfig.

Wersja 132 po restarcie po czyszczeniu NVRAM ma od razu dostęp. V136 nie. Dysponuję zrzutem sysloga, nvram i wynik ifconfiga z obu wersji - jeśli to może pomóc.

To zmień ten Mac na właściwy i po temacie. Mac w tomato nie jest czytany z cie, tylko generowany na podstawie ma lasu. Nic więcej dziwnego że w Multiwanie może być inny.

zawsze tak było. W niektórych routerach w CFE nie są trzymane nawet MACi kart wifi i je też trzeba "generować" w locie na podstawie MACa interfejsu et0.

Nie mniej jednak spojrzę w źródła, czemu "odchyłka" jest aż tak duża. Mniemam, że pierwotny autor MultiWANa wolał zachować "bufor" bezpieczeństwa by nie dopuścić do sytuacji w której np. WAN i WiFi mają identyczny adres MAC.

Jednak problem pozostał. Telefony OK, ale inne sieciowe urzadzenia wifi wypadaja. Np drukarka.

Na nowym sprzecie i wersji tomato, zauwazylem, ze zanika serwer dlna. Trzeba w tomato zrestartowac usluge, lub odczekac zwykle dluzsza chwile na pojawienie sie ponownie tej uslugi. Ktos cos kojarzy taka przypadlosc?
