Witam,
Pozdrawiam

Hello,
sorry I don't know polish so I'm writing english.
I installed Tomato Firmware 1.28.0000 MIPSR2-106 K26 USB Max into Linksys E2500, configured everything I needed. From sudden moment, the Wireles 5Ghz / eth2 has gone from the settings - I cannot see it in the Status->Overview, I cannot set it in Advanced->Wireless, everywhere is shown just Wireless 2.4Ghz / eth1. It looks like the 5Ghz has gone:
I tried restoring the router default configuration, but it didn't help. Where can be the problem, is there a possibility to turn off the 5Ghz module? I checked every setting in the menu, I didn't find this option :o
Thanks for help! |

look for Basic -> Network and this firmware http://tomato.groov.pl/download/K26RT...06-Max.bin
check off - After flashing, erase all data in NVRAM memory

Pirek - thanks for answer. I tried it, but it didn't help. One and only solution which helped was to reflash the latest firmware with erasing NVRAM after flashing. After that I set up the router again and everything works fine |

In administration-> upgrade - upload this firmware http://tomato.groov.pl/download/K26RT...0E-series/ for E2500 and check off - After flashing, erase all data in NVRAM memory - it is especially for E 2500

Hi,
I followed your instructions and installed the firmware you recommended. I have the same problem as the OP. We had a power outage and when the router came back on we lost the 5ghz profile. I only see the 2.4ghz profile now.
When I installed your firmware I allowed data to be sent to your database.
Any ideas where the 5ghz profile went?
Thanks! |

v.108 is ready - http://tomato.groov.pl/download/K26RT...0E-series/
in tools->system :
Cytat nvram show | grep eth
if eth2 is 5GHz then
Cytat
wlconf eth2 stop
wlconf eth2 down
wlconf eth2 up
wlconf eth2 start

I am guessing that wl1_ifname=eth2 is the 5ghz radio.
I entered those commands but it didn't bring back the 5ghz... |
