Problem z serii... nie działa modem 3g

Witam,
Niestety z racji przejścia na nowego operatora internetu jestem zmuszony tymczasowo skorzystać z internetu bezprzewodowego. Nie miałem pojęcia jednak, że napotkam taki opór ze swojego routera Smile Do rzeczy:

Ustawienia WAN standardowe dla 3g, PIN pierwotnie wyłączony przy podłączeniu do kompa.

W zakładce USB modem widzialny jest jako storage device i nie może być podmontowany. Nie wiem czy to normalne i czy może być przyczyną dziwnego zachowania jak poniżej.
Tak czy inaczej WAN łączy się na sekundę, po czym zrywa połączenie i tyle go widzieli.
Możliwe, że ktoś z Was się z czymś takim spotkał, zatem uprzejmie proszę o pomoc.

dziwna sprawa bo on ci się łączy ale po tym dostaje komunikat ze zostal odlaczony ... Co wiecem odlacza widze wszystkie urzadzenia (resetuje magistralę USB). V2 ma w sumie slaba wydolnosc pradowa ale do modemu powinno wystarczyc. Masz moze jakis hub albo cos takiego? Masz pod usb inne urzadzenia podpięte np dysk?

Nie mam. Pomyślałem również, że to może być przyczyną dlatego kupiłem aktywnego huba. I z hubem i bez - tak sama historia. Mogę wkleić log przy hubie, ale to chyba bez różnicy?

@overflow2 patrząc po dostępności funkcji w nowych kompilacjach, to chyba nawet WRT54G/GL jeszcze ma OpenVPN, albo jakiś odpowiednik... zależy, na jakie transfery liczysz.

@servee - o ile problem jest w obrębie samych wyjść (dławiki, warystory), to naprawialne, ale jeśli w samym SoC - to nienaprawialne ze względu na koszta. A co było przyczyną?
